1958 AUSTIN HEALEY 100/6 ROADSTER #BN4L052774. (Stock #3848.) The original 4-cylinder Austin Healey, introduced in 1953, caught the motoring enthusiasts’ attention and became an immediate hit. Five years later, the car was fitted with a more powerful 6-cylinder engine and production continued through 1967. The “Big Healey,” as these cars were tagged, has remained an icon of true British sports cars and has well weathered the test of time. 1958 was the last of the Longbridge cars and ours is the fabulous result of a complete nut-and-bolt, body-off-chassis restoration. Finished in classic British Racing Green with gorgeous tan leather and tan cloth convertible top and fitted with sparkling chrome “knock-off” wire wheels, a pair of chrome Lucas road lamps and a badge bar. These cars have a look and sound all of their own and offer a quintessentially British sports car experience. Our car looks and drives as if it were restored yesterday instead of actually being done 10 years ago. We have full service records of the car since that restoration as well as a book photo-documenting the restoration itself. It would be a difficult task to find a finer example for sale anywhere.
