1954 CADILLAC ELDORADO CONVERTIBLE #546279286. (Stock #3911. In 1953, General Motors introduced an exclusive trio of line-leading convertibles for their Cadillac, Buick and Oldsmobile lines. Cadillac led the way with its new “Eldorado.” This full-size. 5-passenger convertible was equipped with such things as a 5.4 litre V-8,engine with 4-barrel carburetor, 4-speed automatic transmission, dual exhaust exiting through chrome bumper ends, power steering and brakes, power windows, power top, factory chrome wire wheels, rear fender skirts, push-button radio, “autronic eye” headlight dimmer, etc. These second generation cars appeared in 1954, featuring a lower, sleeker body and were astronomically priced at more than $5,000 (substantially more, for comparison sake, than a 1954 Jaguar XK-120.) Our car, in white with red and white interior and black convertible top, is a rare survivor which was restored many years ago and remains in good condition today. It drives well, is perfect for family outings, parades or just cruising in style and is now offered at a fraction of the price at which others are currently offered!
