Description	A key factor for identifying truly correct and documented pre-1967 Sting Rays is the presence of the original “Owner Protection Plan” booklet with its accompanying “metal “Protect-o-plate” which lists the specifications to which the car was manufactured. Our car has both of those crucial items along with its original owners manual--in the original plastic dealer slip case--and registrations from its California owner. The car was sold in San Francisco on July 30, 1966 and purchased by its second San Francisco owner in 1968. That owner kept the car until, upon his death, his wife stored the car for many years. A New Jersey friend of the family knew of the car and purchased it from the owner’s widow. He has brought the car to New Jersey, had it repainted in its original Sunfire Yellow (body and hard top) the interior redone in its original black leather and the convertible top replaced--as original--in black. Fitted with the very desirable original 327/350 horsepower engine and 4-speed manual transmission, the car also is fitted with factory detachable hard top, AM-FM radio, tinted glass, teak steering wheel, seat belts, “knock-off” wheel covers, and new--as original--“Gold Line” radial tires.
